Nicole Richie is free at last!
The starlet's probation, stemming from a 2006 DUI, was officially terminated as of Wednesday morning -- two months earlier than scheduled.
According to TMZ.com, Richie's lawyer went to court on her behalf and presented the judge with proof that his client had completed all the terms of probation. The paperwork included a stellar report from the alcohol education program in which Richie has been enrolled for the last 18 months.
Her probation was scheduled to end in February, but since all the terms have been satisfied, the judge agreed to terminate it early.
It's admirable how Joel Madden's honey has turned her life around and put her troubled days behind her. Transforming from Paris Hilton's party girl best friend, to a devoted mother and wife, the star's future looks brighter than ever.
