Tending to her motherly duties, Kate Gosselin was spotted out on a school bus run in Reading, PA on Thursday (December 16).
Scooping up daughters Leah and Mady, the TLC reality star mom looked in a cheerful mood as she and her little ones loaded into the family van en route to the homefront.
Meanwhile, more details have come forth regarding Kate's situation regarding a few of her broods' troubles in the classroom.
A source told Radar Online, "Both Jon and Kate were sent a letter from the head of school explaining that despite their best efforts, staff had reached a point at which they had to request the children enroll in another program. Both Alexis and Collin received three full weeks of intensive special treatment to focus their behavior."
The Radar insider added, "While the teacher was able to achieve some success, it became apparent to the school that the pair needed intensive assistance to help them with their social, emotional and academic needs."
Playing down the issues, Kate told People magazine, "The school would never use that word. [Collin and Alexis] were not expelled. [The school] did not feel like they could meet their needs anymore, so it was decided they should leave, for now."
